The chemistry is silicone-, PTFE- and solvent-free and re-enterable for service, so treated weapons and assemblies stay field-serviceable without stripping. It works on wet surfaces and displaces every form of moisture — including salt water, acid rain and chlorides — which is exactly the exposure profile of coastal, naval and expeditionary operations. Both formulations hold a service temperature range of −80…+250 °C and provide roughly 12 months of protection per application, so one depot treatment cycle covers an annual inspection interval. Evaluation follows the standard path: treat representative items, expose them alongside untreated controls through a full seasonal cycle, then scale from a pilot drum to a standing tote schedule matched to the unit's maintenance calendar. Logistics planners value the format for a separate reason: a single non-pressurised tote moves under ordinary cargo rules where a pallet of aerosols does not, which simplifies both the transport classification and the storage licence at every depot along the chain.
